Exceed_70mm_FA-18

Introducing our first after-market parts for the 70mm NitroPlanes F/A-18 by Exceed.

This Belly Pan is drop on protection for the ESC and the fragile edges of the intake area. It incorporates optional hatch cutout lines above the ESC and forward compartment for the receiver, secondary battery and B.E.C. just behind the main battery location. It also incorporates twin NACA ducts just ahead of the ESC location. The NACA ducts will ensure your ESC remains cool during flight and exhausts through the rear of the Belly Pan at the ESC location.

The equipment bay created by the Belly Pan is large enough for a wide range of optional ESCs, BECs and receiver batteries.

It’s made from clear .030 PetG plastic and is tough as it gets. The builder has options in cutting the intakes, NACA Ducts and Exhaust ports. It will arrive in sheet form and will need to be cut and trimmed to fit. Tools required - scissors, sand paper or Demel Tool.

Mounting is made easy by using the blue plastic cleats that are used to hold the fan compartment in the aircraft - measure, drill and run two screws into the cleats. Tape or screw the front to mortised in light-plywood - making the area of critical components serviceable at all times.

It can be painted on the backside to match the aircraft or a contrasting color, which will keep the finish in great shape.
