Introducing an Aileron Servo Cover / Fairing for the Exceed 70mm F/A-18 Hornet.
In our constant pursuit of aerodynamic efficiency and mechanical protection we designed and manufactured the SC21-5 – made from .032 PetG plastic.
In the pictures you see what can be accomplished with a coat of paint (on the inside), a pair of scissors and a piece of sand paper.
The Servo Covers will arrive rough cut in clear PetG with a suggested cut line for the wing servos on the F-18 in red marker and a machined v-groove for the shape line.
Position so the rear of the cover is at the joint between the wing and the aileron. Glue or tape in position. You can also install it with screws for easy removal.
This Servo Cover /Fairing can also be used for any situation where a cover is needed.
