1) Installing your gear and skis well forward of the Center of Gravity - 2" to 2-1/2" has improved takeoff and landing performance. Or a far forward as practical. Remember to maintain COG for your aircraft.

2) The aluminum strut landing gear are better overall for rigidity. (see pics on product page) Most not all Stock landing gear wire needs to be reinforced to maintain the direction of the ski in operation.

3) Using a control rod EZ connector mounted on the landing gear strut to receive the torsion bar has proven to be the best attachment method.

4) Increasing rudder throws is recommended. Better yet - increasing the size of the rudder will improve ground handling quite a bit.

Things to remember:

Rigidity.
2 - 4 Degrees positive attitude of attack of the ski.
Rudder use on the ground when taxiing and taking off.
Smooth approach and flare the landing.
