Short Empire s23/s30 Class "C"

What's included in the short kit:
Laser Cut Balsa wood parts Only
This kit requires Millimeter dimension
stringers and sheeting.
However you can use 1/16" sheets in place of the
1.5mm sheets.

5mm Balsa tor the 5x5mm beams for the boxframe
1.5mm Blasa for sheeting
Carbon tubes 7mm outer/5mm inner dia andone 5mm outer dia for the tail
2x3mm spruce stringers for main spar re-enforcement (may also use carbon strips)
Brass servo mounting tubes
Steel wire
3x3mm magnets
6mm round wood for wing dowels
Glass 25gm/m2 and PS100 or epoxy etc
Covering material
Wingbolt
Motors - 4x 880 kv
4 - 20 amp ESC
4- 9x7X3 Props
1- 5500mah 3s lipo
4 Servos - 2 standard 2 micro

The love of flying boats started early in Bart - he got the inspiration at age 11 - held to his
"Dreams of Empire", taught himself CAD and here are the results of a long and wonderful ambition.
"As an 11year old I got a special issue of MAN from my dad. And thats when I first saw it , the beautiful Empire flying Boat. It was Ted Russels 120inch rc model on the cover. Since then I was ever hooked and decided that I was gonna build myself one, when? I didn't know but I was gonna build it. "
I met Bart online on RCG in the Waterplanes forum when I happened upon his fantastic thread. Having an equal facination for the Golden Age of Flight and especially flying boats - it was obvious that we should join forces and produce this fantastic aircraft together so more people can enjoy building one of their own.
